Dr. Anil Kumar Das, by profession a senior consultant dermatologist and veneriologist is associated with AMDA Nepal since 1990 as a life member. Dr. Das was elected as the president of AMDA Nepal for the Two terms from 2019 to 2023. He has served this organization in different responsibilities specially at the policy level and have played active role in project/partnership development. Dr Das is a well-trained policy maker and also a master trainer in STI. In addition to policy making expertise, he has technical specialty in HIV/AIDS. Dr Das has been involved in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support projects (AIDS prevention project, STI service delivery project, ASHA Project, Saath Saath Project, HAMI Project, Epic Project etc) since 1999. Dr. Das is also a national technical support group member under NCASC (National Center for AIDS and STD Control). Currently, Dr Das is serving EpiC Project as a senior technical advisor.
