Weekly Activities update:
Program/Health:
- AMDA participated in Bi-monthly Social Sharing Meeting on 24th July in Beldangi and 26th July on Sanischare organized by BRWF. The discussion on different sectors such as Health, Education, Protection and Security with related stakeholders as CBOs, SMC, AMDA, LWF, APF and UNHCR was done. (The group of thieves active inside Beldangi settlement were caught red handed and taken into custody with support of APF, SMC and community)
- Monitored Health and WASH activities- The identification of pregnant mothers inside settlements with their health status, awareness and also to include for Health Insurance Renewal of new births done through hut visits, (Underage pregnancy is also found in refugee settlements), Dengue awareness with handover of leaflet to BRWF, coordination with respective municipality for mosquito breed control measures(Spraying) and 6 Chronic illness updates as per UNHCR format in both Beldangi and Sanischare.
- AMDA participated in inaugural ceremony of Day Care Center of BRAD, Beldangi on 27th July, 2023 where Deputy Mayor of Damak Municipality, Damak Disable Committee, UNHCR, LWF, Focal person of Sejal and Sister LLC, CBOs were present. The coordination of differently able children to Special Schools of Damak Municipality for upgradation of learnt skills was pointed as priority.
- AMDA UNHCR Coordination meeting was done on 27th July, 2023 where the discussion was on monthly activities and its related issues.
CBOs / SMC
- BRWF organized Bi-monthly Social Sharing Meeting in both settlements to discuss on issues in different sectors and their solutions and actively took lead role in pregnant mother’s data collection, updates of 6 Chronic illness and Dengue awareness in both settlements.
