Weekly Activities update:
Program/Health:
- Monitored CBOs activities- SMC were involved in distribution of biomass cooking stove to each household (1 stove per 1 household) in Beldangi, BRWF updated data of 7 pregnant mothers in Beldangi and BRCF planned to organize mentor-parents meeting.
- AMDA participated in mentor-parents meeting at Beldangi and Sanischare on 9th August, 2023 where the main agenda of discussion was on introduction of mentor-mentee and parents, information of the program model and coordination for supportive role.
- AMDA coordinated and informed BRAD on Disability Medical Certification, then BRAD informed those who are referred cases in which 6 of them were reassessed at Damak Hospital on 10th August.
- AMDA in coordination with UNHCR/Ms. Sangita Khatiwada visited CDO Office, Chandragiri on 11th August, 2023 for meeting on updates of SMC election of Beldangi and Sanischare settlements.
- AMDA coordinated with Damak Municipality and with support of BRWF organized short orientation on prevention of Dengue at Beldangi facilitated by Damak Municipality Health Department (Mr. Nagendra Bhattarai) on 12th August with participation of SMC, CBOs representatives, Water and Sanitation Users Committee, INTRA representatives, APF and Bhagkhor Police Station representatives.
CBOs / SMC
- BRWF of Sanischare participated in orientation for stakeholders on Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in ward level (Ward-10) organized by Pathri/Sanischare Municipality which will be started from 28th of Shrawan (13th of August) for five days. The refugee children from 6 months to 15 years shall receive the vaccine in schedule date at different schools. The children and parents are informed of schedule date to reach out nearby schools on the day of vaccination.
- BRCF organized Mentor and parents meeting on 9th of August, 2023 at Beldangi and Sanischare respectively.
